Strong Thromboxane Synthase Inhibitor. By inhibiting thromboxane synthase, thromboxane A (TXA2) is reduced, and prostacyclin (PGl2) is promoted to resist platelet aggregation and cerebral vasospasm, but has little effect on other arachidonic acid metabolic enzymes such as cyclooxygenase.
