Introduction
Ferric Pyrophosphate is white to yellow-white powder, odorless and tasteless, slightly soluble in water (0.37%,25℃) and acetic acid but soluble in inorganic acid, ammonia and citric acid. It’s molecular formula is Fe4(P2O7)3 • xH2O and molecular weight is 745.22. Besides normal ones, we also could produce micronized ferric pyrophosphate, whose particle size up to 1~3µm. And the water-soluble emulsified ferric pyrophosphate, which greatly increased its scope of application.
