Usage:

Sarafloxacin, with wide antibacterial spectrum, has strong bactericidal effect against bacteria both in quiescent and growth stages. Bacteria sensitive to sarafloxacin include olibacillus, salmonella, proteus bacillus, klebsiella, pasteurella multocida, staphylococcus, streptococci and mycoplasma, etc. The antibacterial activity of Sarafloxacin against most gram-negative aerobe is twice as strong as that of norfloxacin, and that against gram-positive bacteria is twice to 4 times as strong as that of norfloxacin. Its effect against anaerobe is also stronger than that of ciprofloxacin.

Sarafloxacin is immediately absorbed after oral administration or injection. Concentrations in serum and tissues are dramatically higher than MIC to most pathogenic bacteria. It enjoys wide and apparent volume of distribution. When orally administrated, the bioavailability is high and the half life of elimination is long.

Functions:

This product is a bactericide, used to treat infections caused by sensitive bacteria on livestock and poultry.

Usage and dosage:

Water premix, for chicken, 20-50mg/1 liter water, successive for 3-5 days.
